Första stoppet denna torsdag var på njurmedicin på karolinska i Solna. Jag ska nu i 24 timmar ha denna fruktansvärt omoderna apparat på mig för att kolla mitt blodtryck (no shit?!) haha.
När jag fick se hela utrustningen började jag skratta. Det roliga var att jag fick med mig hela morgonpersonaleb också. Där satt jag halvnaken, med en sensor på ena armen och blodtrycksaoparaten över halva mig, tillsammans med avdelningens personal och skämtade!
Kommer bli kämpigt tror jag men va fasen, det handlar om ett dygn och det här är ju ingenting jämfört med mitt liv som kronisk sjuk!
Nu ska jag ila iväg till jobbet och jobba några timmar för att sen efter lunch åka till Ersta och få pump.

New Year’s used to be a time for promises – to train more, eat less, and ‘be better.’ At the same time, I was doing everything I could to keep my blood sugar in range, constantly battling the impossible combination of an eating disorder and type 1 diabetes. It was devastating.
At my worst, I was hospitalized to free myself from my eating disorder. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but also the most important.
Today, I train because I love my body – not because I hate it. I train to feel strong. I’ve also managed to sustain a great A1C, proving that balance and recovery are possible.
Eating disorders are a real and serious issue, but it is possible to break free. It’s possible to become strong, to find balance, and to truly live again.
There is a mini-you inside, full of dreams and hopes! Don’t let diabetes take that away from you ❤️
