Äntligen är vi i Cannes och njuter av att vara här, på franska rivieran! Josefine kom vid 22.30 tiden igår och då slog vi oss ner vid en super mysig bar för lite rosevin och tapas. Kunde inte bli bättre. Jag älskar hela den här kulturen med alla små barer, maten och miljön. Idag startade vi dagen med frukost på vår balkong och i detta nu ligger vi på stranden i solen.
Idag började jag med en lite tur förbi hamnen och alla båtar. Jösses, pappa – du hade älskat det! Jag kom hem duschade, bytte sensor och vi åt frukost på vår härliga balkong. Nu ska vi njuta av solen och stranden!
I was invited to hear about research on type 1 diabetes (and type 2 diabetes) this weekend.
As much as half of all cases, t1, are diagnosed in adulthood, and there is a need to understand the factors that contribute to the development of type 1 diabetes in adults. The lower heritability in adults suggests that environmental factors play a greater role in the development of the disease in adults than in children. They also highlighted the need for further research to identify environmental factors that contribute to type 1 diabetes in adults.
