Upp, här har vi oss två. Greta och jag. Vi fick en timma extra (båda väldigt upptagna trots semester) under gårdagen för att ta lite fler bilder tillsammans. Stockholm bjussade på strålande sol och jag bytte outfit i en trapp vid Mariatorget. Såg nog lite märkligt ut. Vi, eller Greta, tog en jäkla massa fina bilder och äntligen har jag en porträtt bild som behövt ha där jag inte visar när jag tar insulin, äter eller poserar med min dexcom.
Idag skiner solen och nu står valet och kvalet i om jag åker till Norrköping, stannar och kör Pride fest eller om jag hinner med båda?! Nu först ska jag kika igenom bilderna från gårdagen, äta glass och sen tar jag beslut!

I was invited to hear about research on type 1 diabetes (and type 2 diabetes) this weekend.
As much as half of all cases, t1, are diagnosed in adulthood, and there is a need to understand the factors that contribute to the development of type 1 diabetes in adults. The lower heritability in adults suggests that environmental factors play a greater role in the development of the disease in adults than in children. They also highlighted the need for further research to identify environmental factors that contribute to type 1 diabetes in adults.
And, of course, lots of important information on how to make transplanted beta cells survive 💙...
